Delhi: After suddenly retiring from Indian veteran batsman Virat Kohli’s Test cricket, fans want to give him a farewell in a different way. Fans of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have taken a special initiative for him, which will be seen before the match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 17 May. Fans have appealed on social media that all the audience will come to the stadium wearing white jerseys.

The match will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. In this match, fans are appealing to come to the stadium wearing a white T-shirt or white jersey to honor Kohli’s Test career, so that his contribution to Test cricket can be remembered.

Harsha Bhogle appreciated RCB fans

This initiative has also been praised by famous cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle. He appreciated this spirit of fans on social media and said that this honor is very special for a player like Kohli. He wrote, “Fans of RCB, are you planning to come in a white color for the game on the 17th? Remember that such a suggestion was made in a post. If it is true and if you can do it then it will be incredible and viewing for ages.”

After this, while talking about the difficulties caused by the white ball in the white stadium, Bhogle wrote, “The only danger in this first is that it will be very difficult to identify the ball in the white background (background).”

Significantly, Virat Kohli announced to retire from Test cricket on 12 May. He took this decision before the tour of England, which surprised the fans and the cricket world.

Now RCB fans want to bid him farewell in the way in which he made the Indian team proud for years, in the white jersey of Test cricket!
