Arshdeep Singh: Indian Cricket Management has finally announced Team India for the High Voltage Series against England from June 20 next month, where Rohit Sharma has come to the hands of Shubman Gill on one side, the same, if seen in the same way, Indian selectors have chosen a young team for the tour of England.

There are many players who have got a chance for the first time in which one name is also of Arshdeep Singh, where despite Mukesh Kumar being a strong alternative, the management has told about a very big master plan to include Arshdeep in the team.

Why Arshdeep Singh was chosen before Mukesh Kumar

Apart from selecting Arshdeep Singh, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar made it clear that keeping in mind the availability of Bumrah, it was decided to include Arshdeep Singh in place of Mukesh Kumar in the team. Actually, due to his fitness, you cannot be available during the entire 5 -match Test series. This did not affect the bowling of the team, due to which the master plan management prepared the master plan to include Arshdeep in the team.

Agarkar also clarified that when such players retire, big shortcomings always have to be filled and Arshadeep can help in filling that deficiency. Arshdeep Singh is a fast bowler and he can be a useful player for the team who will bring a variation in the team and has been relied on in view of the situation in England.

Ajit Agarkar told BCCI’s master plan

Left -arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has been given a chance in India’s Test team for the first time. Those who have the experience of playing county cricket for Kent in England, which India will work on this tour. It is clear from the selection of these players that the management is giving a chance to the players as per the need of the team at this time. However, Mukesh Kumar is also bowling well in domestic cricket and he has the ability to swing the ball.

But due to not being available in the Test series of all five matches of Bumrah, the management was looking for a person who could provide skills like these players. Therefore, considering all possible options, the selectors and team management unanimously decided that Arshdeep Singh should be included in the team.
