Dewald Brevis’ Onslaught Powers CSK to 230/5 Against Gujarat at Ahmedabad

Dewald Brevis’ onslaught has helped the Chennai Super Kings to post a huge total in the IPL 2025 game against the Gujarat Titans on May 25 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

His 57 knock has helped CSK to post 230 runs in their 20-over innings on Sunday’s clash.

Batting first, Ayush Mhatre and Devon Conway open the innings while Mohammed Siraj opens the bowling attack.

The 17-year-old went on to aggressive mode scoring with a 200 strike rate. He scored 34 runs in 17 deliveries before being dismissed by Prasidh Krishan in the fourth over. Meanwhile, Conway went for a slow and steady start, and after Mhatre’s dismissal, he joined hands with Urvil Patel to help the side score 68 runs in the powerplay.

Urvil Patel went on to score 37 runs off 19 deliveries before being dismissed by Sai Kishore in the 10th over. Dube, who came to bat, went out on Shahrukh Khan’s dismissal scoring only 17 runs.

Meanwhile, Devon Conway went on to slam his fifty before being dismissed by Rashid Khan. After his dismissal Dewald Brevis and Ravindra Jadeja are aiming for a high total at Narendra Modi Stadium.

Midway, Brevis Went on aggressive mode making one of the fastest fifty in the IPL. His fifty comes in 19 deliveries which includes four sixes and four fours.

He went on to score 57 runs in 23 deliveries while Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten with 21 runs in their 20 over innings.

Prasidh Krishna had two dismissals while Sai Kishore, Rashid Khan and Shahrukh Khan picked a wicket each for the side.
