Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by 9 wickets to register their seventh win of the Indian Premier League 2024. Chasing 180 runs to win, Rajasthan were helped by MI fielders who dropped easy catches of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. Jaiswal finally returned to form and managed 104 runs off 60 balls. He hit 9 fours and 7 sixes.
Earlier, Tilak Varma (65) and Nehal Wadhera (49) took Mumbai to 179/9 in 20 overs. Sandeep Sharma was sensational for Rajasthan as he took 5 wickets. Ishan Kishan (0), Suryakumar Yadav (10), Tilak (65), Tim David (3) and Gerald Coetzee (0) failed in front of the veteran pacer.
