Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir kept his feelings openly at the press conference before the five -Test series began between India and England. After the IPL, the Indian team is going on a tour of England for the Test series. In this series, the Indian team will be seen playing without their legendary and experienced players, due to which Gautam Gambhir has made a statement about pressure.

“I am always under pressure” – Gautam Gambhir

During the press conference, when Gautam Gambhir was asked how he felt before going to a difficult place like England, his answer was very honest and emotional. He said, “I am always under pressure. After New Zealand, yes, I was under pressure even after Australia. The Champions was under pressure even after winning the trophy. I do not have the results, I remain under the same pressure after every series.”

India won the Champions Trophy:

The Indian team has seen a lot of ups and downs under the leadership of Head Coach Gautam Gambhir. During his tenure, India faced a whitewash in the Test series against New Zealand for the first time at home. The same faced defeat in the Test series against Australia. However, in the Champions Trophy 2025, the Indian team made a comeback with a comeback where the title was first won after 2013.

The series between India and England starts from June 20. The second match of this Test series will be played between 2-6 July. After this, the Indian team will go to London for the third match where the match will be played at Lord’s from 10-14 July. The fourth and fifth match will be played between 23-27 July and 31 July to 3 August respectively.
