The Aussie all-rounder, who came out to bat in the first over, took the visiting team to a win by six wickets. He was unbeaten on 124 runs off 63 balls, laced with 13 fours and 6 sixes as LSG completed the chase in 19.3 overs.

Marcus shared an important partnerships with Nicholas Pooran and Deepak Hooda. Earlier, Chennai put up 210/4 in 20 overs.
Gaikwad led from the front, accumulating 108 off 60, packed with 12 fours and 3 sixes. He was assisted by Shivam Dube, who managed 66 off 27, with the help of 7 sixes and 3 fours.
With this win, Lucknow have moved to fourth spot with 10 points in the table. Rajasthan Royals (14), Kolkata Knight Riders (10) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (10) are the top three franchises.
