New Zealand Cricket has officially released the schedule for its upcoming home season, where the Black Caps will face four top-tier cricketing nations — Australia, England, West Indies, and South Africa. The action-packed season begins on October 1, 2025, and will run through March 25, 2026.
With the T20 World Cup 2026 just around the corner, the majority of matches scheduled are in the shortest format of the game, indicating a strategic focus on T20 cricket.
The Kiwis are set to play 25 matches at home between October and March. This includes:
16 T20 Internationals
6 One-Day Internationals (ODIs)
3 Test matches
The season begins with a three-match T20 series against Australia and ends with a five-match T20 series against South Africa.
