IND vs Eng 3rd Test Day 2 Highlights: The third Test match between India and England is being played at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London from 10 July. The first day of this Test match was named after England. Jasprit Bumrah dominated at the beginning of the second day. By the end of the second day, KL Rahul came into the limelight. The reason for this is that he scored a half -century in India’s first innings till the second day.

Joe Root scored a century in England’s first innings on the second day. Jamie Smith scored 51 and Bridan Karse scored 56 runs. England were all out for 387 runs in the first innings.

Second day highlight of Lord’s Test

The first session of the second day of the Lord’s Test was a draw. The first session led to a 22 -over game, scoring 102 runs at a run rate of 4.64 and 3 wickets fell. The second session went in favor of the Indian team. In the second session, 21.3 overs were played, with 78 runs at a run rate of 3.63 and 4 wickets fell. In the second session, England scored 34 runs losing 3 wickets. The Indian team scored 44 runs losing 1 wicket. The third session was also a draw. This session had a 29 -overs game, with 101 runs at a run rate of 3.48 and 2 wickets fell. By the end of the second day’s play, Team India scored 145 runs for 3 wickets.

Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets

The third Test match is currently being played in the Anderson Tendulkar Trophy 2025. In this Test series, Jasprit Bumrah has taken five wickets in an innings twice so far. In the first innings of the Lord’s Test, Bumrah alone sent five players of the England team to the pavilion. This included the wickets of Harry Brook, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Chris Woakes and Jofra Archer.

Bumrah Kapil Dev left behind

Jasprit Bumrah has overtaken Kapil Dev in terms of taking the most wickets as an Indian bowler in Tests in England. Along with this, he has also surpassed Kapil Dev in terms of taking 5 wickets in a Test innings for India abroad.
