Day 01

• Batting first, England made a decent start where Joe root remained unbeaten 99 runs by the end of day 01 helping the side to post 251 runs.
• Nitish Reddy went on to pick two wickets while Jadeja and Bumrah picked one wickets each by the stumps at day 01.

Day 02

• Resuming the game on day 02, Joe Root went on to score a century and solid knocks from Ben Stokes, Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse has helped the side to post 387 runs in their first innings.
• Jasprit Bumrah went on to bag five wickets while Siraj and Nitish Reddy went on bag two wicket each with Jadeja picking the wicket.
• Starting their innings, India went score 145 runs for three wickets by the end of day 02 at Lord’s.

Day 03

• Resuming the game on Day 03, India went on to score 387 runs after a solid partnership from KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant. Jadeja’s knock has helped the side to tally the total in the game.
• Chris Woakes picked three wickets while Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes picked two wickets each while Brydon and Shoaib picked a wicket.
• England started their innings and scored 2 runs by the end of day 03 at Lord’s.

Day 04

• On Day 04, England went on to lose wickets scoring only 192 runs in their second innings. Joe Root, Harry Brook and Stokes supported in the middle but the side collapsed for a low total.
• Washington Sundar went on to pick four wickets while Bumrah and Siraj bagged two wickets each with Nitish Reddy and Akash Deep picked one wicket each.
• India started their innings aiming to chase 193 runs, but the side went on to lose four wickets for 58 runs by the end of day 04.

Day 05

• Starting on game on day 05, India went on to lost three quick wickets of KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar.
• Jadeja put up his fight until the end, but the side fell short 22 runs in the third session as they scored only 170 runs losing all 10 wickets.
