The Max60 Caribbean 2025 tournament is bringing back high-octane 60-ball cricket to the picturesque Cayman Islands. The second edition of the event, taking place from July 16 to July 24, will feature seven teams and some of the world’s best international talent.

All the action will unfold at the Jimmy Powell Oval in George Town, where the defending champions, the Caribbean Tigers, will aim to hold on to their title against six formidable challengers in a new format designed to make every match count.

This year’s format is a single round-robin, with each of the seven teams playing a total of eight matches. The top team on the points table will secure a direct spot in the final. The teams finishing second and third will then compete in a qualifier match for the remaining spot in the championship. This brisk, high-stakes structure ensures that every game is critical, as even a single loss could jeopardize a team’s chances of making the playoffs and competing for the championship.

The tournament features seven teams: the defending champion Caribbean Tigersalong with the Boca Raton Trailblazers, Cayman Bay Stingrays, Florida Lions, Grand Cayman Falcons, Miami Blaze and Vegas Vikings. While the Tigers are the clear team to beat after their triumph last year, the presence of strong and determined squads like the Trailblazers and the Miami Blaze means that every match will be a tough contest, promising fans an exciting and unpredictable tournament from start to finish.
