Rishabh pant finger injury manchester test: The third match of the five -match Test series being played between India and England was played at Lord’s, London. In this match, Rishabh Pant was hurt by Rishabh Pant during wicketkeeping. After Pant’s injury, Dhruv Juril took over the responsibility of keeping for Team India.
Although it is worth noting that Pant did not do wicketkeeping in Lord’s, but he was seen batting in both innings. But now the question is arising whether Pant will play in the fourth Test to be played in Manchester. So let’s know what is the latest update on Pant’s injury.
Team India’s assistant coach Ryan Ten Doshet said on Thursday that Pant could fit before the Manchester Test. However, the question remains on whether he will do wicketkeeping or not. He also said that team management is careful about his finger injury.
The Assistant Coach said, “He will bat before the Manchester Test. I don’t think you will keep Rishabh out of the Test, then whatever happens. He batsman with pain in the third Test and it will be easy for his finger.”
Ryan Ten Doshet added, “The key is the last part of the process. We will try to make sure that he should do Keeping. We do not want to go through the situation where we have to change the wicketkeeper in the middle.”
The Lord’s scored 74 runs in the first innings of the Test. However, he returned to the pavilion after running out. Then in the second innings, Pant could score only 09 runs. Due to the absence of Pant, the middle order of the team can be very weak.
