Dilip vengsarkar warns yashasvi jaiswal: The Indian team could win the third match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025. But after reaching the target, Team India lost this third Test match by 22 runs. The match was played at Lord’s Cricket Ground. India had to score only 193 runs in the fourth innings against England in Lord’s Test, which was an easy goal. In the five-match Test series being played between India and England, the English team is currently leading 2–1. Now the fourth Test match between the two teams is to be played at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester from 23 July to 27 July. Earlier, former Indian cricket giant and great batsman Dilip Vengsarkar has warned Yashasvi Jaiswal for his mistake.

Yashasvi Jaiswal dismissed from careless shot

Chasing the target of 193 runs in the Lord’s Test, the Indian batting order suddenly stumbled, and it started with the dismissal of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal sat in a shot carelessly while trying to play a bridge shot on a short ball from Jofra Archer. The ball hit the upper part of his bat and Jamie Smith caught him and sent him to the pavilion. This wicket fell at a time when the team was in dire need of a strong start.

Vengsarkar’s strict warning to Yashasvi

Dilip Vengsarkar has advised Yashasvi Jaiswal to play carefully in Test cricket. He said that there is no scope for such a mistake on international Levan. In an interview with Revspports, Vengsarkar said, “Jaiswal is a good player, but sometimes he needs to control his aggressive tendency. In Test cricket, you have to play every ball based on its ability. A little mistake and you get out.”

Dilip Vengsarkar further said, “He has not been able to score much runs since scoring a century, but it is very important to perform well in international cricket. I still trust him and hopefully he will do well in Test cricket.”
