Virender Sehwag has selected the Indian playing eleven for the upcoming T20 World Cup. He has selected bowler Sandeep Sharma, who has played only two T20 International matches, in the team.

ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is to be played in the month of June for which all the countries have started gearing up. Indian selectors are also trying to choose the best team keeping in mind the upcoming World Cup and meanwhile, former Indian team cricketer Virender Sehwag has given his views on this. Actually, Virender Sehwag has selected the 11-member Indian team for the T20 World Cup.

Hardik was not given a place in the team

Virender Sehwag has not given place to Hardik Pandya while selecting the Indian playing eleven for the T20 World Cup. He has selected Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dubey in the team as all-rounders.

Sehwag confused about Rinku Singh and Shivam Dubey

Let us tell you that while choosing the best Indian playing eleven, Sehwag chose Shivam Dubey as an all-rounder apart from Ravindra Jadeja. On the other hand, he also appeared quite confused about Rinku Singh and Shivam Dubey. Sehwag could not decide who between Rinku and Shivam should be kept in the playing eleven, due to which he selected both for the number 6 position. That is, he believes that one of Rinku and Shivam should be a part of the playing eleven.

Player who played two T20 Internationals included in the team

Also know that while Virender Sehwag has not included experienced all-rounder Hardik Pandya in the team, on the other hand he has selected fast bowler Sandeep Sharma, who has played only 2 T20 International matches, in the team. Sandeep has played only 2 T20 matches for India so far in which he has taken only one wicket. Also know that Sandeep Sharma has not played a single Test or ODI for India.
