Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre is set to lead the India U19 Squad in the multi-format tour of Australia, which is set to begin on September 21.
The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also retained his spot after his performance in the England tour. The two sides will lock horns across three one-day matches and two multi-day matches.
Several Names Like Rahul Kumar, Harvansh Singh, RS Ambrish, Kanishk Chouhan, Henil Patel, D. Deepesh, Anmoljeet Singh, and Naman Pushpak are retained in the Squad.
With a good performance behind them in the recently concluded England tour, India U19 will be hoping to put in similar showing against Australia as well.
D. Deepak and Naman Pushpak were brought in as injury replacements in England for Aditya Rana (stress fracture) and Khilan Patel respectively.
All three one-day matches will be hosted at Norths. The 18-member squad features two wicketkeepers, Abhigyan Kundu and Harvansh Singh while five players has been named as reserves – Yudhajit Guha, Laxman, BK Kishore, Alankrith Rapole and Arnav Bugga.
The three one-day matches alongside the first multi-day game will be held between September 30 and October 3. The second multi-day game will kick off on October 7.
