Chopra believes that in the absence of Rishabh Pant, the team needs a batsman who can strengthen the middle order. Under this thinking, he has advocated to give Karun Nair a chance at number five.
He has advised to include Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the team in place of Shardul Thakur. Chopra said, “If you want to win the match, then you have to take 20 wickets. Only you can draw the match with batsmen, cannot win.”
