Delhi: The last and important match of the five -Test series being played between India and England has started at the Kennington Oval ground in London. In this match, England captain Oli Pope won the toss and decided to bowl first.

KL Rahul became vice -captain

Talking about Team India, there have been four changes in the playing 11 in this match. The biggest change is about Rishabh Pant’s not playing. Pant was made the vice -captain for this series, but during the Manchester Test, there was a fracture in the leg, which led to the out of the Oval Test.

Now in this match instead of Pant, Team India vice -captain KL Rahul has been given. BCCI itself gave information about this change. KL Rahul has so far performed brilliantly in this England tour. He has scored more than 500 runs. In such a situation, this responsibility can be called the reward of their good game.

Pant’s performance has also been excellent in this series. He has scored 479 runs in four matches. But, while batting in the first innings of the Manchester Test, he suffered a leg injury, due to which he could not fully fit and was out of this match.

Changes in Indian team

Team India has made a total of four changes for the Oval Test. Apart from Rishabh Pant, Jaspreet Bumrah, Anshul Kamboj and Shardul Thakur are also not part of the team in this match. They have been replaced by Karun Nair, Dhruv Jurael, famous Krishna and Akash Deep have been given a place in Playing 11.

Dhruv Jurael will field for the first time in this series as a batsman. Earlier, in Lord’s and Manchester Tests, he played the responsibility of wicketkeeping after Pant’s injury. But now they will also get a chance to bat.

The Oval Test is important for India as England are ahead 2–1 in this series. India will try to equalize the series by winning this match.
