Moeen Ali has lauded Mohammed Siraj for his performance in the five-match Test series against India and said that a pacer has taken a big step towards becoming a complete bowler in international cricket. England were troubled by the right-arm pacer as he tore through the defences of the batters and sealed a 6-run win for India in the fifth and final Test of the series.
“Siraj was outstanding in the England series. His energy and passion were remarkable. He has matured into a genuine match-winner for India, and it is a challenge for batters to face him,” Moeen Ali said.
“His ability to control the ball impresses me the most. He has got a big heart and never backs down, which makes him special. Credit to him for making an impact,” he added.
