Priyansh Arya played a crucial role in their success, opening the batting and contributing significantly with the bat. He scored 475 runs at a striking rate of 179, including a century in his debut season. Arya is certainly a future prospect for Team India, and just one day after the announcement of the Asia Cup 2025 squad, he made his intentions clear.

Currently, Arya is representing the Outer Delhi Warriorz in the 2025 Delhi Premier League, but the team is facing challenges. Arya remains focused on performing well for his franchise. In an interview with Times Now, he emphasised his current goal of delivering solid performances for his DPL team. However, he also expressed his long-term ambition to play for India.

“I want to play for India, that dream is always there. Right now, my main focus is on my cricket and contributing effectively to my team, the Outer Delhi Warriors. I also make an effort to guide the younger players who seek advice on their approach and growth as cricketers,” Arya said.

They are at the bottom of the points table with only one win from seven matches, leaving them with just three points. Arya remains hopeful that the team can turn their fortunes around and finish the season strongly.

“We still have a few matches to go, and we’re determined to make an impact. Our goal is to finish strong and make our fans proud. The young players are also viewing this as an opportunity to catch the attention of selectors for upcoming major tournaments,” the star batter added.
