Delhi: Former Indian batsman Manoj Tiwari has made serious allegations on the Indian cricket team management. He said that the recently launched Bronco Test has actually been brought out by players like Rohit Sharma to keep out of the 2027 World Cup plan.

What is Bronco Test?

In the Bronco Test, the player has to complete a shuttle race of 20 meters, 40 meters and 60 meters in five sets. In this entire process, the player has to complete a total of 1,200 meters race within six minutes.

‘It will be difficult for Rohit to place in the team’

Talking to the cricketer, Manoj Tiwari said that it will not be easy for Rohit Sharma to return to the ODI team now. According to him, “It will be difficult to get Virat Kohli out of the team plan, but I suspect that the team management’s thinking about Rohit is different.”

‘This test has been brought for players like Rohit’

Manoj Tiwari said, “I see what is happening in Indian cricket closely. And I think the bronze test has been brought out to exclude players who can hardly pass in fitness tests. Especially it can become a challenge for Rohit Sharma.”

Why was this test brought now?

Manoj Tiwari questioned why this test was not implemented when the new coach came. He said, “Why this test has been implemented right now? Why not first implemented it? And why? I do not have answers to these questions, but in my view this decision shows the team’s plan regarding Rohit Sharma.”

‘Rohit can stop in Bronco Test’

Tiwari also said that if Rohit Sharma did not work very hard on his fitness, then it can be difficult for him to pass this test. He said, “I think Rohit will be stopped in Bronco Test.”
