Delhi: Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of India’s T20 International Cricket Team, is very close to creating a big record in T20I. In the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, he can make such a record of sixes, which is only recorded in the name of Rohit Sharma. The tournament will begin in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 9 September. India’s first match will be against the host United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 10 September.
Suryakumar Yadav has so far scored 2598 runs in 83 T20 International matches for India at a strike rate of 167.07. During this, he has scored 4 centuries and 21 half -centuries. So far, 237 fours and 146 sixes have come out of Surya’s bat. If he hit 4 more sixes in the Asia Cup, then his name will also join the 150 six club. He will be the second batsman of India to do so. Till now this achievement is only recorded in the name of ‘Hitman’ Rohit Sharma.
Rohit Sharma has the highest record of most sixes in T20 International cricket. He has hit 205 sixes in his career, which is the world record. The special thing is that so far no other batsman all over the world has touched the 200 six figures. However, Rohit Sharma has retired from T20I.
Suryakumar Yadav has a record target of Glenn Maxwell and Nicholas Puran. Maxwell has hit 148 and Puran has hit 149 sixes. In such a situation, the right -handed batsman needs only 4 sixes to break the T20I record of these two.
