Not a single match played under Rohit’s captaincy

During an interview, Amit Mishra talked about the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. He told that even though he has never played under Rohit’s captaincy, he has played with him.

Amit Mishra said, “I have not played any match under Rohit’s captaincy, but have shared the dressing room with him. There is a difference between the captaincy of both Virat and Rohit – both of them are aggressiveness, the method of conversation with the players and the style of handling the team is different.”

Rohit calm, Virat is more zealous

Mishra told that the way of showing enthusiasm on the ground of both the captains is also different. The veteran spinner said, “Rohit Sharma is quite calm in the conversation, but shows aggression with his bat. At the same time, Virat Kohli is very energetic and zealous on the field. However, both the captains are very positive and always support the players.”

Never done pressure, just suggested

Amit Mishra also told that whether he was Rohit, Virat or Dhoni – no one tried to impose any decision on him. He said, “None of these three pressurized me. Everyone just suggested how to perform better. Their method was always cooperative.”
