Phil Salat of England played a stormy innings. He completed his century in just 39 balls. Salt scored an unbeaten innings of 141 runs in 60 balls.

Salt and Butler together added 126 runs for the first wicket. The pair completed 100 runs on just 35 balls which is the second fastest century made by a team against a full member. The first number is West Indies who completed a century in 33 balls in 2023 against South Africa. Salt scored 141 runs which is the highest score made by the England batsman at T20 International.

England scored 166 runs in this match losing one wicket in 10 overs. This is the biggest score made by any team in the first 10 overs in T20 International. He has surpassed Australia in this case, scoring 156 runs losing three wickets in the match played against Scotland in Edinburgh in 2024.
