Bhaepal, 26 September (Read News). Today is the birth anniversary of freedom fighter, social reformer Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mahan Yadav has done humble salutes by remembering him.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wrote a great freedom fighter fighter and social reformer on the birth anniversary of Social Reformer Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar ji. Your progressive thoughts and efforts to improve social improvement will always be exemplary for social harmony and progressive development of the nation.

It is noteworthy that Ishwar Chand Vidyasagar was born on 26 September 1820 in Barsingha village (currently Medinipur District, West Bengal). He was a great educationist, social reformer and a great scholar. Due to his scholarship, he was given the title of Vidyasagar. He raised his voice for the education and widow marriage law of the people. He was recognized as a social reformer for his works. Due to his efforts, the widow-poverty law was passed in the year 1856. On 29 July 1891, the great person said goodbye to the world.
