In the warm-up match played at the BCCI Center of Excellence Ground in Bangalore as part of the preparations for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025, the Indian women's team defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets in a thrilling style.

Due to rain, this match was played for 42-42 overs and it was also India's last match before the start of the World Cup. In this match, there was a strong game from Team India. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Harleen Deol proved to be the biggest match winner of the team.

New Zealand scored 232 runs on board

In this match, New Zealand batted first and scored 232 runs for 8 wickets in 42 overs. During this, Sophie Divine scored an innings of 54 runs, which included 9 fours. At the same time, Maddy Green contributed an unbeaten 49 runs.

Amelia Karr also played an important innings of 40 runs. Isabella Gauge also scored 21 runs, due to which the New Zealand team managed to reach this total. On the other hand, Mr. Charan was the most successful in bowling for India, who took 3 wickets for 49 runs in 9 overs. Kranti Gaur took 2 wickets in 5 overs, while Reddy achieved 2 successes in 9 overs. Pratika Rawal also took 1 wicket.

Haramanpreet Kaur-Harleen Deol's strong innings

Under the Duckworth-Louis rule, India got a target of 237 runs to win, which he achieved by losing 6 wickets in 40.2 overs.

The innings was started by Team India by Pritka Rawal and Uma Chhetri. Both players added 54 runs for the first wicket. Pritaka Rawal scored 15 runs and Uma Chhetri scored 38 runs. After this, the match winning partnership was seen between Harmanpreet Kaur and Harleen Deol.

Harleen Deol scored 74 runs, facing 79 balls, which included 10 fours. At the same time, Harmanpreet Kaur played a captaincy innings of 69 runs off 86 balls. Both players added 132 runs for the third wicket. Due to which the Indian team managed to achieve this target easily. Now Team India will start its campaign in the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 on 30 September.
