The West Indies Cricket Board said in a social media post on Monday 29 September that Aljari Joseph has been eliminated from this Test series due to injury to the lower back (lower back).

According to the Windies Board, fast bowler Joseph complained of back pain, after which he was scanned. In this scan, it was found that the old injury in the lower back has emerged again, due to which he got out of this series.
