New Delhi, 30 September (Read News). Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived on Tuesday to worship at Durga Puja Pandal of Chittaranjan (CR Park), called Mini Bengal in Delhi. During this time, he performed Purja Archana in Kali Bari and attended the Aarti. On the day of Mahashtami, he also offered the Aarti of Maa Durga and Pushpajnali to him according to the worship method of Bengal. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was also with him. Prime Minister Modi’s participation is being seen as a tribute to cultural solidarity and traditions.
The history of Durga Puja in CR Park is very old. CR Park Durga Puja is one of the most prominent puja of Delhi-NCR. Every year grand pandals, cultural programs and religious rituals are organized here. Bengali families settled here have cherished their tradition. During Durga Puja, people in the pandal, especially people of Bengal, are very excited about this festival. In these pandals, poems of poets folk dances and folk music are organized for four days. The Kali temple complex built in the 1970s is considered to be the spiritual and cultural center of the Bengali community.
