Anuppur: Regular center becomes district hospital, patients wander for treatment

Anuppur, 2 October (Read News). In Anuppur District Hospital of Madhya Pradesh, patients coming here are facing problems due to lack of specialist doctors and other medicals. Due to the district hospital, patients are referred here from the primary and community health centers of the district. Due to lack of experts, patients are referred to Shahdol Medical College from here. In such a situation, many times they die on the way of serious patients. Recently, the construction work of the new building of the hospital has been done, but the posting of the doctors required for treatment has not been done yet. The OPD of the district hospital is about 3000 patients. Also, patients are admitted in about 1200 IPD. There is a shortage of specialist doctors as well as associate staff in the hospital Anuppur. At present, the post of Nursing Superintendent, Nursing Brother, Administrative Officer and Assistant Manager is lying vacant here.

Doctors do not reach, there is trouble

Due to lack of doctors, many tasks are being assigned to the same doctor, in such a situation, doctors are also getting upset. Also, patients also have to wait for several hours in the ward. Sanjay Kumar, a patient who came to the district hospital for treatment, said that it was brought here after the accident, but only the nursing staff did not come to the medical round to see. Patient Shambhu Lal Yadav said that he has been admitted for 5 days due to his hand breaking. After offering plaster, the doctor did not come to see till date. In view of the shortage of doctors, the civil surgeon also has to see patients in OPD every day.

Status of doctors

All three posts are vacant in bone -pathologist 3 approved posts. Pathology experts, radiology specialists, dentist, tuberculosis and nasal ear throat specialist are vacant even after approved.
