Jabalpur, 2 October (Read News). The water level of Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi Sagar Project Bargi Dam was estimated at 422.90 meters at 12 noon today. Currently, the water useful capacity of the dam is 3217 mcm (101.16%) and the water in the dam has 794 cumec.

To control the water level of the dam today at 6 pm on Thursday, the amount of water drainage was increased from 237 cumec to 780 cumec. For this, the average height of the current 5 water door will be increased to 1.00 meters at present.

This will increase 4 to 5 feet of water on the ghats of Maa Narmada. According to the arrival of water in the dam, the drainage of water can be reduced or increased at any time. The Assistant Engineer of the flood control room of Bargi Dam is requested to keep distance from the Ghats and coastal areas of Maa Narmada.
