IND vs WI 2nd Test Weather Report: Shubman Gill-led India will square off against Roston Chase-led West Indies in the 2nd Test of the tour, played between October 10 and 14 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

India secured a dominating win by an innings and 140 runs in the first Test after stunning performances in all departments.

Three centurions, KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja, troubled West Indies bowlers well enough and Siraj, along with the all-rounder Jadeja, went on to trouble the visitors’ batting lineup, which helped the side to secure a comfortable win at Ahmedabad.

India will be aiming for a clean sweep while West Indies will be aiming for a win in the upcoming clash to draw the game.

IND vs WI 2nd Test Pitch Report

The conditions at Delhi traditionally favours batting especially in the first part of the game. The first two days of the test will be best for batters. Spinners will be effected from day 03 onwards.

The black soil pick gives good bounce and carry. Slow turn and occasional low bounce become major challenges for batters, testing their skillset and patience. Pacers migh find some assistance with the new ball thanks to grassy patches.

But the overall conditions are heavily tilted towards spinners later on, making it a classic subcontinental Test pitch.
