– Grand conclusion of three-day Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart organized in Bhopal
Bhopal, 13 October (Read News). Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) of Madhya Pradesh Dharmendra Singh Lodhi said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the tourism sector has emerged as one of the fastest growing sectors of the country, which is a proof of the immense potential of our state. Madhya Pradesh, blessed with diverse natural beauty, sacred spiritual sites, rich wildlife and glorious heritage, has always attracted travelers from all over the world. With the continuously increasing number of tourists, our state is creating a strong global identity.
Tourism Minister Lodhi was addressing the closing ceremony of Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart organized at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center in Bhopal on Monday evening. He said that he expresses his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for his dynamic leadership and continuous support. Madhya Pradesh will achieve new heights in the coming times through new tourism and film policies.
Actually, this three-day Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025 organized by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board had a grand finale on Monday. Realizing the spirit of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’, this event proved to be not just a business conference, but a great festival of confluence of cultures and global cooperation. The Mart was attended by over 100 international tour operators from 27 countries, representatives from various states of India, hoteliers, investors and over 700 participants. At the conclusion of the program, first prize in the Best Stall Award category was given to Shambhala Resort (Bhopal), second prize to Yar Nagar Jungle Resort (Budhani) and third prize to Enchanting Madhya Pradesh (Gwalior). Apart from this, sponsors, village stay and home stay operators were also honored.

MP Tourism Board’s Additional Managing Director Bidisha Mukherjee said that pre-organization activities like road shows, regional tourism conclaves, fam trips and influencer meets played an important role in the success of Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025. There was excellent participation of more than 700 participants in Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart. Sessions to film, MICE and wedding tourism and discussions on eco-tourism highlighted the diverse potential of the state. With vibrant cultural presentations, culinary demonstrations and national-international participation, MPTM has further strengthened the global image of Madhya Pradesh and opened new doors to high-value business collaborations.

Major highlights and achievements of Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart
According to the vision of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart will be organized every year from 11 to 13 October at the same place in Bhopal. Local tour and travel operators, hoteliers including rural home stay owners of the state got a global platform, got the opportunity to connect and establish business relations with more than 100 foreign tour operators and more than 150 major tour and travel operators of the country, more than 700 international and domestic guests arrived. In all, investment proposals worth Rs 3,665 crore have been received in more than 4000 business to business meetings in Travel Mart. The participation of 27 countries in Travel Mart gave it the status of a global event.
Contract signed with Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Tele Film. Balaji Tele Film will produce films and web series in Madhya Pradesh in the next 5 years at a cost of Rs 50 crore. Launched a new TV commercial The Sitarist starring Anushka Shankar, daughter of world famous sitar player and Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar.
Indore Treasure Town Pvt. Ltd. to construct a hotel/resort with an investment of Rs 386 crore in village Neenod of Raisen district near Sanchi, a world heritage site, and on the picturesque Nazarpura Island of Indira Sagar reservoir located in Khandwa district. Awarded letter of award. To promote bird tourism in the state, an MoU was exchanged with Atavi Bird Foundation of Bangalore. This initiative will give a new direction to eco-tourism and adventure tourism in the state. To provide easy air service between major tourist places, religious places and national parks of the state, regional helicopter service was started in three sectors within the state. For this, letter of award was given to Trans Bharat Aviation and Jet Serv Aviation. Under the ‘Narmada Cruise Project’, the cultural and spiritual journey will go from Meghnath Ghat in Dhar district to the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. , To realize this historic project, five companies namely Jungle Camps India, Knowledge Marine and Engineering Works Limited, Knowledge Marine and Engineering Works Limited, Absolute Tech Management LLP, Absolute Tech Management LLP, Ceina Infotainment Pvt.
