Shimla, October 15 (Read News). BJP State General Secretary and MP Dr. Sikandar Kumar said that even in the announcement of DA, the Chief Minister manipulated one percent. The Chief Minister knows that he has made the financial situation of Himachal Pradesh serious and the Finance Department has not left any stone unturned in getting access to ventilators.

He said that on Wednesday the Chief Minister has announced 3 percent DA increase (total DA 45 percent) from 01.07.2023, while the Central Government had increased it by 4 percent (total DA 46 percent) from 01.07.2023. Due to this decision of the state government, employees have been deprived of DA payable from 01.07.2023. It is clearly visible that the Chief Minister has taken away the rights of one percent of the employees, he has no intention of thinking about the employees.

He said that the Chief Minister has also said that the number of employees in Himachal Pradesh is more, which makes it clear that the Chief Minister is avoiding even hiring employees. Where is the Chief Minister’s announcement that he will provide one lakh jobs in the first cabinet and 5 lakh in 5 years? The Chief Minister believes in only one thing, employment, due to which neither employees will be retained and the youth will also be deprived of their right to jobs. Due to this decision, the employees who are to be promoted have also been affected.

Three installments of dearness allowance (4% from 01.07.2023, 4% from 01.01.2024, 3% from 01.07.2024, total 11%) are payable for officers and employees. It is also true that the government has not yet paid the arrears of dearness allowance payable on 01.07.2022 and 01.01.2023. In view of the financial condition of the state, there is a delay in paying the arrears of dearness allowance to the officers and employees.

He said that the Chief Minister says on every issue that the financial condition of Himachal is not good. If you cannot run the state then you should leave the throne. Indian Janata Party will rule the power and will also improve the financial condition.
