PKL 2025: Another tiebreaker in Pro Kabaddi League, after Patna Pirates, U Mumba-Haryana also won the matches

In the 88th match of the 12th season of Pro Kabaddi League at Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on 16 October 2025, Patna Pirates won 6-5 in a thrilling tiebreaker against Bengaluru Bulls.

After 40 minutes of play, the score of both the teams was equal at 32-32, but in the super tiebreaker, Patna won with its strategy and strong performance. This victory is Patna's fourth win in 14 matches, while the Bulls had to face seventh defeat in 15 matches.

Thrilling victory of Patna Pirates

At the beginning of the match, Patna caught the attention of the fans with its strong start. In the first five minutes, due to the hard work of Ayaan and the defenders, Patna took a lead of 5-4.

However, Bengaluru's Akash equalized the score and then the Bulls took the lead by catching Ayaan. The Bulls took the first break with a lead of 8-7. But Patna made a comeback and took a lead of four points at one point and then kept Patna ahead 16-13 till half-time. Even after halftime, there was a tough competition in the match, due to which the match was tied at 32-32. After this, Patna won 6-5 in the super tiebreaker and won the match.

U Mumba beats Telugu Titans

In the second match of the day, U Mumba defeated Telugu Titans 33-26. This win brought Mumba's eighth success in 15 matches, while Titans suffered their second consecutive defeat, registering their seventh defeat in 15 matches.

Mumba's strong performance not only highlighted his strength but also confirmed the top-2 spot for Dabang Delhi KC.

Great victory of Haryana Steelers

In the third and last match of the day, Haryana Steelers defeated UP Yoddhas 53-26. This victory brought second consecutive success for Haryana, which revived their hopes of making it to the top-4. Haryana, which made a comeback after five consecutive defeats, showed a stormy game in this match. This is their eighth win in 15 matches, while UP had to face 10th defeat in 16 matches.
