Ranchi, October 19 (Read News). The case of shooting death of Vijay, the operator of the famous Chowpatty restaurant located on Kanke Road, Ranchi, has come to light on Sunday.

Some criminals have committed this incident late on Saturday night. Local people told that when they ran towards the restaurant after hearing the sound of gunshot, some youths were coming out, while Vijay was lying on the ground. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment but by then he had died. Some employees of the restaurant told that their owner Vijay and two-three youths had an argument over some issue, during which a youth opened fire.

As soon as information about the case was received, many senior officers of Ranchi Police and station in-charge reached the spot. According to the police, the firing was carried out due to a dispute over food. It is being told that some people had ordered biryani from the restaurant. There was some dispute regarding veg and non-veg biryani, after which one of the youths who ordered biryani opened fire on Vijay. The bullet hit Vijay directly in his chest. Due to this he died.

In this regard, Rural SP Praveen Pushkar told Sunday that investigation has been started into the incident of firing in the restaurant. The matter is being investigated on many points. Raids have been started to catch the criminals involved in the incident and soon the criminals will be arrested. All the surrounding CCTV footage is being scrutinized.

Meanwhile, family members and local people have blocked Kanke Road on Sunday in protest against the incident. Police calmed down angry people
