Hamirpur, 20 October (Read News). The youth, resident of Kharonj village of Kurara police station area in Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh, had gone to Bilota village to take bath in Yamuna river on Monday. Drowned after going too deep while bathing. Police are on the spot and divers are searching.

Shivpujan (18), son of Jitendra Singh, resident of Kharonj village of the area, had gone from the village to Bilota village in the morning to take bath in the Yamuna river. While bathing there, he drowned due to going deep and no trace of his whereabouts is available. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and are engaged in investigation with the help of divers. Couldn’t find out till late evening.

This sudden incident has created chaos among the family members. Police station in-charge Ram Asre Saroj said that the young man had drowned in the river while bathing and divers have been deployed to search for him.
