Raipur: Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Rajyotsav on November 1

Raipur, 22 October (Read News). On the completion of 25 years of the establishment of Chhattisgarh state, the state government is going to celebrate a grand Rajat Rajyotsav. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the five-day Rajyotsav on November 01 in Naya Raipur of the capital. Preparations are going on at a fast pace to give the program a historical and modern look. During his stay in Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the country’s first tribal digital museum, new assembly building and ‘Shanti Shikhar’ academy of Brahma Kumari Divine University. He will also meet children benefiting from heart treatment at Satya Sai Hospital.

Culture Minister Rajesh Aggarwal gave necessary directions to the officials regarding the preparations for the Rajyotsav. An attractive exhibition of various departments of the state government and public undertakings of the central government will also be organized at the Rajyotsav site. Apart from this, along with Food Zone and Shilpgram, various stalls will be set up to entertain the people coming here. There will also be presentation of attractive cultural programs on the main stage. Minister Aggarwal appealed to the people of the state to join the glory story of the state by visiting the state festivals and museums in maximum numbers. He said that the Rajyotsav being celebrated on the silver jubilee of Chhattisgarh is a celebration of the glorious development journey of Chhattisgarh.

Culture Minister Agarwal inspected the new Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum and Purkhauti Muktangan being built in the memory of Martyr Veer Narayan Singh and observed the newly constructed Ramvanagaman Path, Sitabengra and the replica of Ramgarh hill in Purkhauti Muktangan and took information about the work being done here. On this occasion, Commissioner of Tribal Development Department, Dr. Saransh Mitter, Director of Culture Department, Vivek Acharya and senior officials were present.

Presentations by artists from India and abroad, Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Air Show, handicraft exhibition, stalls of local products, Digital Experience Zone and VR Zone will be special attractions in the 25th Rajyotsav. Three huge domes are being built at the Rajyotsav site, in which 60 LED screens are being installed. Arrangements for parking of about 40 thousand vehicles, 300 toilets, a 20-bed temporary hospital, ICU unit and 25 ambulances have been kept ready. Apart from this, the work of beautification and lighting of new intersections is also in the final stage.
