In six games played until now, she has scored 308 runs with an average of 51, and among them, she made a vital 122-run knock against New Zealand in a must-win match. Rawal, along with Smriti Mandhana, who has scored the most runs (331 runs), has become an unbeatable opening duo that has been the main reason behind India’s triumph.

Now that India has secured a place in the semifinals, the attention turns to Rawal’s recuperation. The team management and medical staff will be working against time to get her in shape for what will be a thrilling encounter with the champion team.
