Sultanpur, 27 October (Read). Late Sunday evening in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a retired head constable was seriously injured in a road accident near Kamtaganj in Dehat Kotwali area. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead.

Ramdas, a resident of Lakhipur in the district, was hit hard by an unknown vehicle near Kamtaganj. Due to which he got seriously injured. With the help of local people, he was taken to District Medical College Sultanpur in injured condition, where doctors declared him dead. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. As soon as the news of the accident was received, there was chaos among the family members and a wave of mourning ran in the entire village. Police said that after receiving the complaint, a preliminary inquiry will be registered and investigation will be started.
