Barabanki, 27 October (Read). The son, who had come to Baddupur police station area after drinking alcohol, got angry with his father’s scolding and poured petrol on his body and set it on fire. He got seriously burnt in this accident. With the help of family members, he was sent to CHC Fatehpur by ambulance.

The incident took place in Baddupur police station area. Where local resident Arkil (24) reached home late in the evening under the influence of alcohol. When the father present at home saw his son under the influence of alcohol, father Phoolchand scolded him severely. Due to which a fierce argument started between father and son. During this time, the son, upset with the scolding, poured petrol kept in the house on his body and set himself on fire. As soon as the young man came under fire, he started screaming. Hearing the screams, the family members ran, somehow extinguished the fire and immediately admitted him to CHC Fatehpur. Where the doctors present there started the treatment.

In this regard, CHC in-charge Avneesh Choudhary said, the young man has suffered 20 percent burns and is being treated. Due to the family bringing him to the hospital on time, the condition of the young man will improve soon.
