Prayagraj, 31 October (Read). Allahabad High Court has issued a notice to SDM Karchana Bharti Meena in a contempt case. The court has asked him why contempt action should not be taken against him for disobeying the order.

Justice Dinesh Pathak has given this order on the contempt petition of Najmur Rehman. The court was told that on the petition of the petitioner, the High Court had on July 23 ordered the petitioner to get possession of the auctioned house of the bank by SDM Karchana within three weeks.

It is alleged that the order was not complied with even after the stipulated period had passed and several reminders were given. This contempt petition has been filed on this. The court has given SDM Karchana an opportunity to comply with the order and asked him to submit the compliance report at the next hearing.
