Delhi: A big change was seen in the third match of the ongoing five-match T20 series between India and Australia. Team India dropped fast bowler Harshit Rana and gave a chance to Arshdeep Singh, and this decision proved to be completely right. Arshdeep bowled brilliantly and took three important wickets and played a big role in helping India win.

Match turned due to Arshdeep’s deadly bowling

Harshit Rana had played the first two T20 matches for India, but he could not perform anything special. After this, Arshdeep got a chance with Bumrah in the third match. Left arm pacer Arshdeep took three wickets for 35 runs in four overs, due to which the Australian team could not touch the 200-run mark. He was chosen ‘Player of the Match’ for his performance.

Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav praised Arshdeep after the match and said, “The pairing of Bumrah and Arshdeep is like that of Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma in batting. Bumrah does his work calmly and Arshdeep gets the benefit from it. Together, these two are quite lethal and this is the best combination for the team.”

Easy victory due to Sundar’s explosive innings

Apart from Arshdeep, spinner Varun Chakraborty took two wickets. Whereas, while batting, Washington Sundar scored unbeaten 49 runs in 23 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes. Thanks to his flamboyant innings, India achieved the target easily.

Series now tied at 1-1

The first T20 match of the series was canceled due to rain, while India had to face defeat in the second match. With the victory in the third T20, Team India has leveled the series 1-1. Now the fourth T20 match will be played on November 6, which can prove to be the turning point of the series.
