Indian Women Cricket Team Victory: On the night of 2 November, the Indian women’s cricket team did what crores of citizens of the country were waiting for for years. After winning the World Cup trophy, the team has already received prize money of Rs 39.55 crore from ICC. After this the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced additional awards for the entire team. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has announced a huge prize money of Rs 51 crore for the Indian women’s cricket team.
Captain Harmanpreet gave full credit for the victory to the team. Under the captaincy of Harmanpreet, the Indian women’s cricket team won the first ICC trophy by defeating South Africa by 52 runs. After the match, Harmanpreet said that this success is the result of the hard work of the entire team and every member. He told that despite losing three consecutive matches, the team did not lose courage and remained positive and maintained confidence in itself. Harmanpreet also thanked the BCCI and the spectators, who have always been with the team through ups and downs.
