USA batsman Milind Kumar has created history in ODI cricket. He has made a world record for batting average. He has become the batsman with the best batting average so far among the batsmen across the world who have played at least 20 ODI innings. Meaning, 34 year old batsman Milind Kumar has reached a point in this matter where no other batsman has reached till date. Milind Kumar has achieved this success by leaving behind the expert batsmen of 50 over format like Ryan ten Deschate and Virat Kohli.
The batting average of USA batsman Milind Kumar, who created a world record by surpassing Virat Kohli and Ryan ten Deschate, is now 67.73.
Milind achieved this milestone during his unbeaten inning of 123 runs in the ODI match played between USA and UAE on 3 November. This was the fourth consecutive inning, in which he had scored not fifty but 70 plus, out of which two innings of 70-70 runs came against Nepal, while in one inning he played 71 runs against UAE.Till date no batsman has reached the batting average of 67.73 in ODI cricket.
This figure is of those batsmen who have played at least 20 innings in 50 over format. Earlier this record was held by Ryan ten Deschkate of Netherlands with an average of 67. Virat Kohli is at third place in this list with a batting average of 57.71. Shubman Gill is at fourth place with a batting average of 56.36.Now the question is who is Milind Kumar? This player who left behind Virat Kohli is his old friend. Milind Kumar has also played Ranji cricket for Delhi and IPL for RCB.
