Delhi: The US team achieved a historic victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the match played in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League-2. In this match, American players performed tremendously and registered their biggest victory in the history of ODI cricket.

America’s team scored 292 runs

Batting first, America scored 292 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Saiteja Mukkamalla and Milind Kumar scored brilliant centuries for the team. Mukkamalla played an inning of 137 runs in 149 balls, which included 10 fours and 3 sixes. At the same time, Milind Kumar scored 123 runs in 125 balls and hit 11 fours and one six. Thanks to the strong innings of both the batsmen, America scored a strong score.

Milind Kumar made a new record

Along with scoring a brilliant century, Milind Kumar also made the record of completing 1000 runs in the fewest innings in ODI cricket for America. He achieved this feat in just 21 innings. Before him, Aaron Jones had reached this milestone in 25 innings.

UAE team collapsed for 49 runs

The UAE team which came to chase the target was completely disintegrated. The team was all out for just 49 runs and lost the match by a huge margin of 243 runs. Junaid Siddiqui was the only batsman for UAE, who scored 10 runs while reaching double digits.

Rushil Ugarkar’s lethal bowling

American bowler Rushil Ugarkar destroyed UAE’s innings with lethal bowling. He took 5 wickets for just 22 runs in 8.1 overs. UAE batsmen looked completely helpless in front of his accurate bowling.

America became the first associate team to register a win of 200+ runs

This victory was historic for America. This is his biggest win so far in ODI cricket. Earlier in May 2025, America had defeated Canada by 169 runs. Also, America has become the first Associate team in ODI cricket history to win by a margin of more than 200 runs.

Earlier, this record was in the name of Kenya, which had defeated Scotland by 190 runs in the year 2007. America has now created a new history by breaking this 18 year old record.
