Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a hundred in a Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai. He reached the three-figure mark against Rajasthan at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, which is the home of his IPL franchise, Rajasthan Royals. He is playing his first Ranji Trophy match since January this year. He recently returned from Australia, where he was a part of the ODI squad but was benched for all three matches.

The southpaw hit his fifth Ranji Trophy hundred in just 21 innings since making his debut in 2019.

Yashasvi left Mumbai to join Goa, but he changed his decision after speaking to Rohit Sharma. He is not a part of Team India’s squad for the ongoing five-match T20I series against Australia.

In the previous Test series against the West Indies, he had scored a hundred in the second red-ball game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, becoming the second opening batter after South Africa’s Graeme Smith to reach seven Test tons before turning 24.
