Prayagraj. A middle-aged man was murdered with a sharp weapon on Saturday morning in Atala locality of Khuldabad police station area in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. The friend of the youth who committed the murder absconded after committing the crime. The police team reached the spot after receiving the information, took possession of the body and started investigation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, City Manish Kumar Shandilya said that Mohammad Siraj alias Mocha, a 45-year-old resident of Bindki in Fatehpur district, was living in Atala locality of Khuldabad police station area of ​​the city for the last few days. His friend Ayaz stabbed him to death on Saturday morning and absconded. On receiving information about the incident, the police team of Khuldabad police station reached there and took possession of the body and started investigation. Forensic team has also reached the spot. The police team is interrogating to find out the reason for the murder. In this regard, legal action will be taken by taking a complaint from the family of the deceased and registering a case of murder. Police teams are raiding possible places in search of the youth who absconded after committing the crime.
