KKR Release List IPL 2026: Before the IPL 2026 Mini Auction, BCCI has given the date of November 15 to all the teams. By November 15, all the franchises will have to submit their retained and release lists to BCCI. KKR team, which was the winner of IPL 2024, has appointed Abhishek Nair as its new coach and after this, KKR will give Abhishek Nair a chance to create a new team as per his own.

Abhishek Nair was a part of KKR’s trophy-winning team in IPL 2024. At that time, he was the batting coach of KKR along with Gautam Gambhir, but now the franchise has appointed him as the new head coach of his team, in such a situation, he would like to build the same kind of team as the team which had won the IPL 2024 winners trophy.

KKR team will release these 8 players

In IPL 2025, KKR had bought Venkatesh Iyer for a huge amount of Rs 23.5 crores, he was the third most expensive player in IPL, but he disappointed everyone with his performance. At the same time, Abhishek Nair would like to create a young and strong team by releasing players like Manish Pandey and Ajinkya Rahane.

The name of fast bowler Enrique Norkhia, who was bought by the franchise for Rs 6.50 crore. But he could not do anything special last season. With this, the franchise would like to release uncapped Indian player Anukul Rai and replace him with another young Indian uncapped player in the team.

Fast bowler Spencer Johnson was bought by KKR for Rs 2.80 crore, but he could not do anything special. In this way they too can be shown the way out.

KKR will need a new captain

For IPL 2026, KKR team will need a young captain, who can lead the team like Shreyas Iyer and take them to the finals. KKR team is in touch with Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav for this, but if things do not work out, then the franchise can play a big bet on Rinku Singh.

KKR’s performance in IPL 2025 was very poor, the franchise had won 5 out of 14 matches under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane, while 2 matches were canceled due to rain, due to which KKR’s team was at number 8 in the points table with 12 points.
