IND vs SA 1st Test Weather Report: Shubman Gill-led India will square off against Temba Bavuma-led South Africa in the 1st test of the series, played between November 14-18, 2025, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
India is set to play their second home series of the WTC 2025-27 championship, which marks the return of Rishabh Pant to the India squad, along with Akash Deep.
Both of them missed the two-match series against the West Indies last month due to injury- issues. However, they are now fully fit and have also proved their fitness in the recently concluded second unofficial test between India A and South Africa A in Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, Nitish Reddy has been released from the squad for the 1st test to play in the ODIs against South Africa A.
With India secured in third position, South Africa sits below next to India in the WTC 2025-27 points table.
According to the weather report, the temperature will range between 18 and 30 degrees, while humidity will hover around 60-70%. A light breeze is expected to flow across the ground, keeping conditions pleasant for players and spectators alike.
The mornings might start slightly hazy, especially during the first three days, but clear skies and sunshine are forecast as the day progresses.
Cricket lovers can rest easy knowing that rain or bad light is unlikely to spoil the action at Eden Gardens.
