India’s skipper is aiming for the 3,000-run landmark in Test cricket. Having accumulated 2,839 runs in 39 innings, at an average of 43.01, he boasts 10 centuries, 8 fifties, and a top score of 269. The Punjab-born batter is in sensational form, enjoying a standout season in Tests. In 15 innings, he has piled up 979 runs at an impressive average of 69.92. His tally includes five centuries and one half-century.

Both KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are set to surpass the 4,000-run mark in Test cricket. KL Rahul, averaging 36.55 in his Test career, has accumulated 3,985 runs, with 11 centuries and 20 half-centuries, and a highest score of 199. The 2025 season has seen KL Rahul at his best, having scored 745 runs from 15 innings at an average of 53.21. His stellar run includes three centuries, three fifties, and a top score of 137

Ravindra Jadeja’s remarkable career has seen him score 3,990 runs in 87 Tests at an average of 38.73, with six centuries and 27 fifties, with his highest being 175. In 2025, Jadeja has been in outstanding touch, amassing 659 runs in eight Tests at an average of 82.37, with two centuries and five fifties.

The all-rounder has accumulated 338 Test wickets at an average of 25.21 and is now just 12 wickets away from reaching 350. Jadeja could soon join Kapil Dev as the second Indian to complete the double of 4,000 runs and 350 wickets in the longest format of the game.
