CSK Trade Rumours

According to reports, CSK are aiming to make a trade ahead of the auction. It is rumoured that CSK are in talks with Rajasthan Royals to trade Ravindra Jadeja for their skipper and wk-batter Sanju Samson.

However, Rajasthan has demanded Jadeja along with another player in return for Samson. With several discussions over acquiring Dewald Brevis, CSK rejected and offered Sam Curran.

Reports hint that all three players have given their consent, but the official completion could take a couple of days, as trades require a 48-hour formalisation process.

The Swap initially included jadeja and the curn for the Samson, followed Rajasthan’s request for dewwald break or mathesha pathirana, which was declined.

Currently, it is on hold due to the unavailability of an overseas slot and a low purse at RR’s disposal. However, once completed, the trade would see CSK and Rajasthan Royals adjust their squads ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction.
