Vaibhav Suryavanshi: Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again made the cricket fans realize his talent and strength. The young Indian batsman, who has already made many records at the age of 14, created such a ruckus with his bat even in the blue jersey of Team India, which will be remembered for a long time. In Asia Cup Rising Star, Vaibhav scored a record-breaking century in just 32 balls. Vaibhav batted so brilliantly against UAE in the match played in Doha. After his memorable century, Vaibhav told how his father helped him in this.
This Asia Cup tournament started from Friday 14 November in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Earlier, for the first time, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had also got a place in this tournament played under the name of Emerging Asia Cup. In this way, he was playing T20 cricket for India for the first time in any level of cricket. Before this, he had played Test and ODI matches at Under-19 level. In his very first match, Vaibhav created history by scoring a century in just 32 balls.
Cricket fans had witnessed Vaibhav's stormy batting many times in the last 6-7 months. But this time he showed even more aggressive attitude than before and scored 144 runs in 42 balls. How does Vaibhav bat tremendously with so much focus at the age of just 14? This question must be in everyone's mind and when Vaibhav was asked this after batting, he gave the credit to his father for this. Vaibhav said, “Actually the credit goes to my father because he has been very strict with me (regarding cricket) since childhood.”
It was here that Vaibhav said that thing which comes to every child's mind at some point of time at a young age, when he is taught something. Vaibhav said, "Earlier I used to wonder whether Papa is so strict. But now I understand its benefits on the ground. He did not let me get distracted. He kept my focus on cricket only. He made sure that I work hard."
The way Vaibhav has made his mark in every level of cricket at such a young age is enough to show how much hard work his father has put into it. Vaibhav made his IPL debut this year itself and became the youngest player of IPL. Then he shook everyone by hitting a six on the very first ball of his career. After this, without wasting much time, Vaibhav scored a century in just 35 balls in the third match and became the youngest batsman to do so. Some time ago, during the England tour, he made a world record by scoring a century in 52 balls in the Under-19 ODI series.
